Sculpture & 3D Work
When exploring a new motif, I often begin by building a simplified 3D sculpture — it helps me understand its shape, balance, and soul.
Learning to work with new materials is essential, and having the right mentors made all the difference.
I was introduced to the basics of welding by the renowned metal artist Rok Capuder (aka Šlosart), and to the magic of wood by Marko Lipovšek (aka Dizzy Strings).
Dian Carlo (SoDi Designs Inc) taught me the science of powder painting and advanced metal grinding in a high-end industrial setting.
I’m also collaborating with my longtime friend, academic sculptor Hrvoje Crnogaj from Križ, Croatia.
Together, we’re often developing new ideas for sculpture projects in Austria and Germany.
