About the Artist
I was born in Slovenia on September 26, 1980.
My artistic skills were shaped not through institutions, but through daily creation, the school of the streets, and an ongoing drive to explore new techniques and materials.
Over the past 25+ years, I've committed my life to mastering various forms of artistic expression — from body painting, mask making, acrylic and oil painting, to airbrush on canvas, wood, metal, walls, and even tattooing on skin. I also have basic welding experience for crafting metal sculptures from recycled materials.
My only true art mentor was Branko Šuster, my teacher in primary school. He believed in my work when no one else did.
He taught me to stay consistent with techniques, especially when mixing media — a lesson I still carry today.
I see art as a way to speak truths that many prefer to avoid.
In a world increasingly numbed by comfort, I choose to paint the critical moral shifts and the vanishing sense of compassion.
I don’t use a sweet palette to sugarcoat reality — instead, I try to reflect what I see and feel with honesty and intensity.
I am not a pessimist — I’ve simply learned how to look at the world in an alternative way.
My wish is that my work might open a different thought,
about a different inner world,
in a hopefully different way.
“Fortis est qui se vincit” – Strong is the one who defeats himself.
I try to live by this quote — especially in a world where self-glorification often overshadows the work itself.
So please, judge me by my art, not by these words.
